Good to know
- This reads the captions a video already has, written by the creator or generated by YouTube. A video with captions turned off has no text to get.
- When a video has captions in several languages, or both written and auto-generated ones, pick the track from the list above the text.
- Click a timestamp to watch that moment on YouTube.
- “Use as teleprompter script” turns the text into paragraphs and opens the recorder, so you can read it aloud and record it.
- Private, age-restricted and members-only videos don’t work, because they need a signed-in YouTube account.
